Imtec for Bedding is a cocktail of specific bacteria which react with ammonia, moisture and straw to form and insoluble protein highly beneficial to crops.




How do you use Imtec for Bedding?



  1. 1.Clean out yard and leave for 3 days after disinfecting to kill organisms.[Please do not put our bacteria down on top of freshly spread disinfectant- it kills them!]

  2. 2.Spread on the ground 50g of Imtec for Bedding per 10 sq. ft.  

  3. 3.Lay straw 10 kilo per 10 sq. ft. Our bacteria need that amount of straw to start with.

  4. 4.Spread Imtec for Bedding on top of the straw 50g per 10 sq. ft. making a sandwich of Imtec / straw / Imtec.

  5. 5.Set your pigs.


Maintenance:


  1. 1.Daily, add straw as needed.

  2. 2.Weekly, spread 20g of Imtec for Bedding per 10 sq. ft.

  3. 3.Any damp areas treat with an additional 50g of Imtec per 10 sq.ft.

  4. 4.All scrapings moved out in the normal way.

How is Imtec for Slurry applied?


  1. 1.Clean & disinfect stalls. [leaving for 3 days].

  2. 2.Spread 100g of Imtec per 10 squ feet over whole surface.


Maintenance


  1. 1.Spread once per week 50g of Imtec per 10 squ feet in each stall.

  2. 2.As and when required, pump out homogenised slurry from pits with ease.

Imtec for Slurry gives dry healthy stalls homogenising the slurry for ease of handling and removing the majority of smells.


-Imtec reduces costs,mucking out less frequently.

-Improves health by reducing the ammonia.

-Produces a better muck due to composting and
